7-13 March 2022 was LGBT+ Adoption and Fostering Week. The annual event is organised by New Family Social, a UK charity, led by LGBT+ adopters and foster carers. This year the theme was ‘Be the Change’ – asking LGBT+ people to think about the range of vulnerable children they could parent or care for.
